Mechanical Properties of Soft Materials

In my undergraduate research project, I collaborated with a PhD senior to study pressure-sensitive adhesives, which exhibit significant viscoelastic behavior and strong crack resistance, making their mechanical properties complex. In this study, I used tensile testing and fracture mechanics to explain the complex mechanical behavior of this material.

Practical Sailcar Project

Our course project in Mechanical Engineering Practice involved designing and constructing a sailcar from the ground up, tested through midterm and final challenges.
